Wondering what to buy those little ones in your life? Check out this post for the best Amazon Christmas gift ideas for toddlers and preschoolers!
I know, I know! It’s still November. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet. It feels too soon! But listen! I am not waiting until the last minute to finish up Christmas shopping this year and neither should you. Especially with supply chains backed up, I want to be ordering any last minute gifts now, just in case. I hate feeling rushed and wondering where or how I am going to find a last minute gift.
And I don’t know about you, but I absolutely hate shopping in person. I hate the crowds and lines and searching through stores to find what I need. Maybe it’s because I worked retail all throughout high school and college but if I can Christmas shop at home in my PJs with a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate, sign me up!
The last several years, I’ve done most of my Christmas shopping online, most of which is done on Amazon because it arrives so fast and I don’t have to stress about shipping costs or times. I am the person who will have a cart full of items and walk away when I see that shipping is $10. Lol I love being a prime member and getting free 2 day shipping. Fast and free is a win, win in my book. The membership is more than worth it to me.
What’s on the list?
I know how hard it can be to shop for little ones each year. Whether they are your kids, nieces and nephews, grandkids, or kids of friends, choosing a gift that the child will love can be difficult!
I put together this list of tried and true favorites that kids typically won’t lose interest in after 10 minutes. We’ve all given (and if you’re a parent, received) gifts like that where the pieces are scattered all over the house and the child pays no attention to it after the initial opening of the gift. Lol. No fun!
I tried to provide a variety of ideas for the boys and girls on your shopping list. Many of the items come in different colors or characters so feel free to click on the title or image to explore other options if one of these seems “not quite right” for your little. I tried to only link Amazon Prime gifts so you can click and add them to your cart to get them on your doorstep in a matter of days! Yesss!!!
Alright! Let’s start shopping!

Amazon Christmas Guide: My Amazon Gift List for Toddlers
1. Magnetic Doodle Board
I snagged this one for my little guy for Christmas and I think he’s going to love it! It reminds me of a doodle board I had as a child, except this one allows you to draw in different colors! I love that it’s mess free drawing and coloring. That’s always a huge parent win! I’m also thinking this would be a great road trip toy so he can draw and play without me having to worry about a car seat mess!
2. Vtech Smart Wheels Race Track
We purchased this last Christmas for our toddler and he has had so much fun with it. If your little one loves to play cars, definitely check this one out!
3. Play Kitchen
Does your little love to help in the kitchen? Then this is the perfect gift! They can pretend to make their own culinary creations and build those imaginative play skills, which are so important for development. This also pairs well with a food set so the littles have something to serve up when they are finished cooking!
4. Little People Learning Barn Playset
My little has loved farm animals from the beginning! This barn is one of his favorite toys. It has different learning levels as well so he can interact with it, but it’s also just great for creative play time. He puts his animals in the barn, pretends to feed them, etc. This is an essential toy for littles who are working on building language skills! Tons of opportunities for this one!
5. Ball Pit
The ball pit is a tried and true toddler favorite! They love the sensory experience (I mean, I truly want an adult ball pit sooo… LOL) and it’s a great way to keep them busy on those cold winter days. Balls are not included with this one but you can purchase some separately here. If you’re looking for a more advanced ball pit, you might like this tunnel version!
6. VTech Care for Me Pet Carrier
Does your little one love animals? Then definitely add this to your list! They will love caring for their pup and taking it everywhere they go! The carrier also teaches colors, shapes, opposites, letters, and sings tons of songs! It’s also available in orange if pink is not the right color for your little one.
7. Little Tikes Basketball Goal
Is your little one a ball player? Then they will love this Little Tikes basketball hoop! It’s great for indoor or outdoor use, and can be adjusted higher as your little one grows. It has 6 height options from 2.5 to 4 feet. It also includes 3 junior size basketballs. Looking for a different color? Check out the pink and purple version of this toy!
8. Little Tikes 3’ Trampoline
Is your little one a jumper? Mine sure is! He loves his Little Tikes trampoline. We keep it inside to help him get his energy out. It’s another great sensory play option for littles who have lots of wiggles or just need something to do that involves movement indoors. Definitely make sure your little one knows how to hold on and use it safely before using.
9. Disney Princess Baby Doll
If your little one loves babies and Disney princesses, you’ve got to check out these Disney babies! There are several different princess versions, as well as “big girl” princess dolls like this one. Your little will love collecting all of these and this is a great gift to collaborate on with family members to ensure each person purchases a different princess doll.
10. Kids Fire Tablet
I know there are lots of mixed feelings when it comes to electronics and littles, so just know that this is a judgement free zone if you’ve decided this is the right gift for your toddler. If your little one is ready for an electronic learning device, the Kids Fire Tablet is the way to go! It has a 7 inch display and comes in a kid-proof case. Kids can read books, play learning games, and watch shows on this tablet. There are also parental control options so you can limit what your child has access to.
11. Cozy Coupe Car
Every little one needs a Cozy Coupe car under the Christmas tree at least once! I love this dinosaur version of the car but there are TONS of different styles these days from the Classic Cozy Coupe to the Fairy Cozy Coupe to the Ice Cream Truck Cozy Coupe. There is a Cozy Coupe to match every little personality on your shopping list!
12. Animal Plush Chair
Every little needs an adorable plush animal chair to sit in while they enjoy cartoons and endless snacks! My little guy has the puppy dog version of this chair and loves it.
13. Little Tikes Slide
I love this little slide for indoor or outdoor use. Be careful to make sure it’s stable if your little one is a climber. But when using with adult assistance or for littles who know how to climb up carefully, this is a fun toy to add to the list this Christmas!
14. Disney Princess Barbie Doll Castle
At 4 feet tall, 3 stories high, and with 6 different rooms, the little princess lovers in your life will have endless hours of fun with this castle. I know my Barbie house was my favorite toy as a child, and having a princess castle would have been even more amazing! It includes furniture as well as 29 accessories. The princess dolls are sold separately, but I’ve linked Cinderella, Aurora, Jasmine, and Elsa here to help get you started.
15. Soft Zone Climb and Crawl Play Set
These play mats are definitely on my shopping list for my little. Maybe think of them as a cheaper nugget alternative? It’s so important for kids to have movement and sensory play time and these are perfect for just that! They are also great for indoor play on those blistery winter days where it’s just too cold to get outside. Parents of energetic toddlers, you KNOW how rough that can be! Lol
16. Pop Up Castle Play Tent
What little princess wouldn’t want their own castle for Christmas? This super adorable pop up tent is easy to set up and take down, and portable so your little one can be a princess on the go. This is a great budget gift idea!
17. KidKraft Wooden Guitar
If your little one is into music like mine, they will love this little wooden guitar! It is the perfect size for kids and makes a great first guitar for under $40! That price can’t be beat! My little guy is always trying to play dad’s guitar and now he will love having his own to strum along and play his favorite songs!
18. Little People Animal Rescue Set
Does your toddler love Little People toys? Mine sure does! He got this one 2 years ago and still plays with it! Little People toys are so great for building imaginative play and language skills.
19. Little Tikes Jump & Slide Bounce House
We don’t have this one yet, but it’s on Santa’s list! At approximately 10’x7’x5,’ I’m thinking this would be the perfect backyard play item for an afternoon of bouncing and fun to get those wiggles out! (Can you tell my toddler is very active? LOL) These are also a hit at birthday parties and I can think of lots of ways that you’d get your money’s worth out of this gift!
20. Me Reader
This is on our little guy’s Santa list as well! He loves Paw Patrol and reading, so I know he will love having this little reader. It comes with 8 books that all have a corresponding read aloud recording. Littles can follow along in their books and listen. You all already know how much I love reading, and that I’m a huge advocate of early literacy. It is never too early for littles to hear fluent readers and share stories they love. This reader is available in tons of different versions like Frozen, Disney Princess, PJ Masks, Minnie Mouse, and Marvel! There is a version for every kiddo on your list. Click any of the titles or the image to check them out!
